I was hoping for a little more...I dunno. Action this episode. Then again the first 2-4 Episodes are usually the build up. And we need the back drop before the main event.

I thought the exact same thing. Except being S2, we no longer need a build up since we've already been given the backstory in S1. What we need is a little setup on what this "arc" is about, and then to dive right in. I feel kinda let down that our first action is a only tournament match, and in the fourth episode. Ains can wipe out entire armies... now we're watching him 1-on-1. Wooo! Can you feel my enthusiasm?

well, here, Ainz aint using his magic and using solely his built-up skills as a warrior, soooooo

Also, watching El Nix will 100% be hilarious af next ep lol, especially if we switch to Ainz perspective

Honestly he needs a real challenge to flaw his victories over conquering everything now. At this point it's like everything is in his hands and nothing will go wrong. He needs another player on his skill level to show up and be his match or someone stronger then him but they already made it out of how he was even before the game becoming real that he was already an OP player running a notoriously strong guild. The only ones likely at his level are ex guild mates.

ep12-13 season 4 has your back

I mean we seen kind of some in the first season but he used a bunch of micro transaction items he had to pretty exploit power against it. If you say we'll be seeing it coming to satisfy me I'm looking forward to it.

Platinum Dragon Lord is strong, but if you noticed, he didnt fight Ainz and also made the assumption that Albedo was the Player.

There is one, but it's gonna take more time for him to appear in the anime, maybe 2 or 3 seasons from now depending on how the pace proceeds.

Overlord is 85% about political war strategy so expect a lot of talking and less action scene but satisfying. Much like tensura

Be glad you got spared of how Phillip was depicted in the Novel, his part took up over 1/3 of it, and it was quite agonizing..... so after all that the author caused the reader, it would be a waste to off him so easy.

but i do read the novels im currently reading volume 13 i think the holy kingdom arc the one which will be made into a movie

yep, however back when I read it, I was kinda getting tired and bored with the series, and all its re uses of events.
like the many exchanges of etiquette gets kinda tiresome when it happens 87 times each chapter......
volume 10 ruined a lot for me.
I kinda just skimmed 12 and 13....... can barely remember them at all.

9 was too good, but it did not really pay off most its setup like with Enri and whatnot later on that much.
which kinda ended up boring me at the time.
I might give them another go though.
